.gt Registration

Are you planning to register a .gt? Introduced in 1992, .gt is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Guatemala. It has an active status in domain names. Though entities connected with Guatemala are eligible for .gt registration, some second-level names are restricted to particular types of entities. The sponsoring organization for Guatemala is UVG or The University of the Valley of Guatemala. UVG is also the center of resolution of top level domain names with a .gt extension.

The actual legal right for .gt registration is vested on the University of the Valley of Guatemala.
